Applies to the TeethPal app on iOS and Android · Last updated: September 17, 2026
You can permanently delete your TeethPal account and every piece of data linked to it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, not by TeethPal. Deleting your account does not cancel an active TeethPal Premium subscription. Cancel it first in App Store › Subscriptions or Google Play › Subscriptions, or from the "Manage Subscription" row on the Profile screen.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account (anonymous device identifier) | Deleted permanently |
| Scans, dental findings and whiteness scores | Deleted permanently |
| Chat conversations with Minty | Deleted permanently |
| Reminder settings and brushing logs | Deleted permanently |
| Dental photos | Never stored on our servers — they only pass through during analysis |
| Purchase records | Kept by Apple / Google under their own policies; TeethPal holds only an anonymous subscription status, which is deleted with the account |
Deletion takes effect immediately in our live systems. Encrypted server backups are rotated every 7 days, so a deleted account disappears from all backups within 7 days as well. Nothing is retained after that.
TeethPal accounts are anonymous — we never ask for your name, email or phone number, and there is no login. This means we cannot look up an account from an email address.
Because accounts contain no personal identifiers, data left on our servers after a device is lost cannot be linked to you by anyone — including us.
